Reportedly, RnB star Bruno Mars has been sentenced to community service as well as probation and drug counselling after striking a guilty plea deal to possession of cocaine.
Bruno Mars, 25, was arrested back in September at the Hardrock Hotel in Las Vegas after a bathroom attendant caught the singer with what appeared to be cocaine in one of the stalls. The attendant notified police and Mars were charged with possession of cocaine.
The singer is required to serve 200 hours of community service, one year of probation, pay a 2,000 dollar fine and attend drug counselling as result of pleading guilty according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Mars will be able to withdraw his guilty plea if he completes his probation without any problems and all charges will be dismissed because he is a first time offender.
Mars is reported to have told police officers that “he has never used drugs before”, adding that his decision was “foolish.”
