Frank Ocean Has Dropped The Charges Against Chris Brown

Last week in the hip-hop community the top headline was the brawl between both artists Frank Ocean and Chris Brown. We just got confirmation that Frank Ocean will not be pressing charges against Chris Brown due to the fact that he recently got dropped from his lawsuit with rapper Drake.

Frank Ocean was going to make some charges against Chris Brown over a brawl that took place over a parking spot, yet it appears that Ocean has cooled down and doesn’t want to bring any problems. Frank Ocean took to Tumblr his situation and wrote a brief message to his fans.

Frank Ocean stated on his message that he has grown through the decades and will not be taken down with others. “As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I’m an artist and a modern person.”

He continued by writing that he believes it’s better to live life to its fullest than getting an eye for an eye. “I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”

Eyewitnesses of the brawl between both artists state that Chris Brown was the first person to throw a punch.
