Did Gang Starr’s Guru Write That Letter Just Before The Hip Hop Icon Died?

www.HipHoprx.com reported yesterday that Guru of Gang Starr wrote a letter (more like his last will) to his fans, friends and family but there are speculations that producer Solar, sole beneficiary of the Guru legacy, may have written that letter for monetary purposes.

People are claiming that there are so many inconsistencies in the letter that it is unlikely that Guru wrote the letter. They may be wrong but here’s why they believe this is true.

Back in Feb., Guru was rushed to the hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com. Some media outlets reported that Guru pulled through and was doing much better but that was not the case.

In March, Solar wanted to clear his name from him being the reason Guru’s family couldn’t see him nor could they use the brand Guru in any shape, form or fashion.

“It is more than obvious that certain disgruntled people from Guru’s past are trying to use this tragic situation to settle a score with Guru and myself for whatever reason which is shameful,” Solar told AllHipHop.com in a statement.

As reported on www.HipHopRX.com, Hip Hop mourned Guru by saying how they felt about his life as well as his death. In the article (posted April 20) there was a comment from DJ Scratch saying that Guru didn’t write that letter, he’s been in a coma for over 2 months.

Guru’s family has just released a statement today (April 21) confirming that the rapper had been in a coma every since suffering from cardiac arrest therefore contradicting the letter.

“Guru was in a coma from mid February until his death and never regained consciousness. Early on the morning of April 19th, he became hypertensive due to low blood pressure. He again went into cardiac arrest and slipped away from us. Guru died far too young but he was, and we are, proud of all his many legendary musical contributions.”

Allhiphop.com is reporting that MC Bumpy Knuckles called Solar out on the issue via his Twitter account and compared him to the president of Selena’s fan club, the woman who shot and killed the singer.

“It is like that lil fat lady that was obsessed with selena(rip) he stalkd my boy and held something over his head. IT WILL COME OUT!” Bumpy Knuckles Tweeted today (April 21st).

“ONCE YOU GET THE LIFE INSURANCE MONEY YOU WILL PROBABLY MOVE OUTTA THE USA!! UK JAPAN CHINA & EVERYWHERE ELSE,” Bumpy continued.

“IF IM WRONG PROVE ME WRONG! GURU HAS A FAMILY THAT DIDNT BEAT HIM UP & PHYSICALLY ABUSE HIM YOU BITCHMADE WHORE!”

So what do you think? Do you think Solar wrote that letter of did Guru really write it? Read it for yourself!

Do you see inconsistencies or just wrongful speculations?
