Could Hip-Hop Stop Racism?
“[Hip-hop] has changed America immensely. Hip-hop has done more than any leader, politician, or anyone to improve race relations,” stated rapper/businessman Jay-Z to Best Life magazine in the April 2009 issue. Jim Jones Scores Top Rap Album In Opening Week, Followed By Slim Thug
Jim Jones’ latest release “Pray IV Reign” grabbed the ninth spot on the Billboard 200 Chart and the number 1 spot for Top Rap albums by pushing over 42,000 copies its first week out since releasing March 24th. Keri Hilson, on the other hand, took spot number 4 on the Billboard 200 Chart for her debut album “In A Perfect World….”

Lil Wayne/Cash Money Sues DJ Drama, Other Mixtape DJ’s For Copyright Infringement?
Cash Money Records, home of rapper/CEO’s Lil Wayne and Birdman, are reportedly taking further legal action against Aphilliates Music Group, home to Atlanta’s DJ Drama, and Cash Money is supposedly pursuing other certain mixtape DJ’s as well affiliated with it’s catalog of Lil Wayne mixtapes including ‘When the North and South Collide” and “Dedication” mixtape series I, II, and III.
