It shouldn’t be surprising to you that five time NBA Champion Dennis Rodman came to his own Halloween party dressed up in drag get-up. Rodman even carried along his makeup, we guess for an emergency. The party was held in Florida and was called ‘Rodmania’ Halloween Party at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino.
He’s quite a wonderful person, but just leaves you wondering will he ever revert back to wearing suits and ties.
After waiting and waiting, T.I. was finally released on a $3 million dollar bond on Friday on federal gun charges. Since being released, the rapper has a number of rules that the judge has set that he must abide by which includes that he cannot attempt to contact or speak with fans or witnesses about the case. Only T.I.’s lawyers will be able to talk or contact anyone. In addition, visitors who visit the rapper on the pre-approved list by authorities must go through a full background check and are restricted to three at a time between the hours of 7 am and 8 pm. His girlfriend R&B singer Tameka “Tiny” Cottle formerly of the music group Xscape and their kids are the only ones allowed to live in the home. (more…)
Wanya Morris from Boyz II Men has a new look which make you have to blink twice. While others are dissin him on his size, he kinda looks a little like the handsome Cedric The Entertainer, but a little slimmer. He’s never been a real slim man, but he looks a little more buff and much more mature. Lil Wayne reportedly has stirred up conversation again in the press. Wayne supposedly walked out on a rescheduled High School concert in North Carolina on Sunday, October 21, 2007, because the attendance was around 1000 people, when the expected draw was around 3,000.
The first scheduled concert was to take place at Brogdon Hall, but the School Board objected to it after two lock downs occurred in a one-week period reports state, possibly due to gang violence. (more…)
According to Milwaukee news TMJ4, budding singer Yolanda “La La” Brown, 21, best known for her feature on Lyfe Jennings song “S.E.X.” was found dead alongside her boyfriend JeTannue Clayborn, 22, in their recording studio Loud Enuff Productionz studio at 55th and Lisbon.
Both were reported to have been killed by gunshots on yesterday and had been dead for more than a day before their bodies were discovered. (more…)
Atlanta rapper, T.I. “Clifford Harris, Jr” who was arrested on Saturday, October 13, 2007 was denied bond by U.S. Magistrate judge Alan Baverman on yesterday after failing to meet the requirements (provide private alarm monitoring company and an employee to live on the property, property bond, etc.). The rapper entered a plea of not guilty on federal gun charges after being charged with illegal possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
On October 13, agents claim that T.I. took delivery of three machine guns and two silencers from a bodyguard who was cooperating with ATF ( Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) after trying to purchase guns from an undercover ATF agent. The bobyguard reportedly told ATF that the guns were being purchased on T.I.’s behalf. (more…)
Although the BET Awards wasn’t the best, it was overall good.
Katt Williams held it down while hosting the 2nd Annual BET Hip Hop Awards keeping the crowd happy and doing his random jokes. LL Cool J seemed to have licked his lips very few times for the occasion (wow). It seems that Common won awards, could it be because Kayne West produced his album this time? By the way how did T.I. and Common have a tie for an award. (T.I. wasn’t there because he was taken to jail on weapon charges.) MC Lyte kept it real for the women, while Hurricane Chris was all “A Bay Bay” and doing his “Hand Clap”. Weezy “Lil Wayne” I’m just gonna say is that he got some skills and did his thang. But one question, why didn’t anyone take that cup from him he toted on and off stage. He was surely blazed up. Kanye West won several awards and even admitted for one of them that he actually didn’t think he deserved it. Was he struck by lightning? (more…)

Magazine, the ever-so-sexy even-with-baby-bump Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were out shopping for baby clothes at Petit Tresor in Los Angeles and reportedly spent around $50,000 dollars at the store. The store was closed off to the public while they shopped for more than two hours.
