Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri
For years Janet Jackson has been questioned about having a child with her ex-husband James Debarge. Janet insisted that she has never given birth to a secret child.

The rumor was spread by a former in-law for years who thought that a young girl was her daughter. It eventually turns out that the young girl was her niece.

On numerous occasions Janet Jackson stated that she has been trying get Debarge to realize that she hadn’t given birth. However, James Debarge still insists that this is true and asked Janet Jackson to reveal the truth to everyone.

She says, “He and I have actually talked about it. He said to me that his mother actually mentioned it to him so much, he had to ask me about it. He was like, “You wouldn’t do that (lie), would you?” I had to tell him, “If I’d had a baby, you would know.” I would never keep a child from its father.”

Janet Jackson says that she has considered about having her first child with Jermaine Dupri due to him being her soul mate, but recent reports say that she dumped him. Is it actually true?

Newspaper Interview Gets Rapper Fired From Job

Mike Thomas
He just wanted to tell his life story to New York Times about how he grew up and witnessed death in Detroit, but his employer Professional Removal Services wasn’t going for it. The company accused 34 year-old Mike Thomas of violating rules of employees speaking to media.

Mike Thomas was featured in a New York Times article on last Monday, which inturn got him placed as “suspended indefinitely without pay pending an investigation” by Professional Removal Service mid-week. The bad thing is that Thomas has three kids, no car and now no job.

The company’s owner Eric Orr states that he told Mike not to talk to the media, and he did it anyway due to it being the company policy not to talk about the job. Orr admits that the policy is not in writing.

Due to his daily routine of picking up dead bodies for the city morgue it inspired him to write songs such “Transporter” and “Picking up the Pieces.”

Since being fired everything seems promising since Thomas says that record people have been to his producer’s Web site, and filmmakers are pitching the idea of a reality show based on his life.

Thomas is currently working on his CD which is entitled “Coroner’s Report.” No word on when it will be released.

Young Rapper Jibbs Doing Big Things

Jibbs
Jibbs, who is no stranger to music due to his mother being a former rapper, began his career at the age of 9. Jibbs has had the honor to open up for acts such as Bow Wow and Chirs Brown, but since then Jibbs is making a name for himself.

Now at 15 years-old Jibbs (Javon Campbell) born in Chicago, but based out of St. Louis is taking his nursery-rhyme rap to the next level. Usher Decides To Go Broadway

Usher
While on Broadway, Usher is currently playing the role of Billy Flynn in the Broadway play Chicago. The play originally opened on Broadway in 1975. The play has been running non-stop since 1996 and in November will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Usher will be playing on Broadway until October 1.

“I decided to become an entertainer many years ago. I didn’t really know what that meant until I began to look at other people who had become the motivating force for me to do what I do”, states Usher.

After looking at such legends as Sammy Davis Jr., Ben Vereen and Bob Fosser, Usher knew that he wanted to be a triple threat: dance, sing and act like they did. When he gets around 40 years old, Usher says he wants to say that he experienced it all and had fun doing it.

When asked about failing doing Broadway, Usher says he isn’t worrying about failure while doing Broadway since he believes the person who dwells on his failure can’t see the lesson in it. “You have to become greater. You have to get up and keep going if you do fail. I can’t say that I’ve failed at anything because it has all been an experience, a journey. Entertainment is that”, states Usher.

After doing this his next plan is set on a successful label Ush Records which he says is priority and he hopes to get back to the studio as soon as he’s done to get the next album.

Former N.W.A. Manager Gets Gangsta

Jerry Heller
Former NWA manager Jerry Heller is getting gangsta at 65 by writing a memoir entitled “Ruthless” about the group. Jerry Heller says that when he met Eric “Eazy-E” Wright in 1987, he knew that he would change the music world.

Eazy-E was the founder of Ruthless Records and created the gangsta rap group N.W.A., while Heller the music industry veteran was handling the business side of things. After 11 years of Easy-E’s death from AIDS, Jerry Heller writes the memoir to detail how Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and MC Ren formed N.W.A. and how Suge Knight who was once a part-time security guard for Ruthless broke up the group.

Jerry Heller goes on to talk in his interview about how Ice Cube has spoke of nothing but insults of him, since leaving the group and how he has disrespected him as a person and a Jew. Jerry Heller gives Ice Cube nothing but praises speaking on how great his films are and how he’s the most important African-American indie filmmaker in the business today.

Jerry Heller goes on to tell how charming Suge Knight was and how Eazy-E was more perceptive, he always thought Suge was going to be problem. “I didn’t take Suge as seriously as I should have”, stated Heller.

Currently Jerry Heller is putting together the movie version of the book and has spoken with a few of the potential actors for the roles. For the Eazy-E role he hopes to get Larenz Tate, whereas he has spoken with The Game to play Suge Knight. Heller is also talking with Bruce Willis to play himself. “And these are just talks right now”, states Heller.
