After much anticipation of Ludacris’ album “Theater of the Mind,” the previous release date of October 21st has now been pushed back to November 25th. The album features his latest single “Wish You Would” featuring T.I. and the first single “What Them Girls Like” featuring Chris Brown and Sean Garrett.

Singer/Songwriter D’Angelo
After facing legal issues and being behind the scenes for sometime, Grammy Award winning R&B singer/songwriter D’Angelo has returned to promote his single “I Found My Smile Again,” a remake of his song originally recorded for the 1996 “Space Jam” soundtrack. The song was released exclusively via iTunes on September 30th.

50 Cent and Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan is rumored to owe rapper and G-Unit founder, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as much as $1 million dollars. According to a reporting via MediaTakeout, a source told the gossip site that 50 Cent doesn’t play when it comes to money.

Kanye West and Young Jeezy
After Kanye’s latest album “808s & Heartbreak” was announced to release in stores in December during the same month as 50 Cent’s latest project “Before I Self Destruct,” the rapper has now changed it’s release date to possibly avoid another album battle over first week album sales.

The change of the release date of Kanye West’s album was revealed on September 24th on Kanye West’s official blog on his web site and was pushed up to November.

Missy Elliott’s Block Party Album Delayed

Although Missy Elliott was eyeing an August release and then a September release for her upcoming studio album “Block Party, it has been pushed back to November 11th. Missy Elliot’s album “Block Party” features production from Souldiggaz, Danjahandz, Pharrell, T-Pain, Pointguard and Timbaland with an appearance by Melanie B (Melanie Brown/Spice Girls) amongst others.

When describing the album, Missy Elliot states it is hip-hop with some U.K. hip-hop sound to it and that the album will have quite a few dance tracks on it.

The lead single for the album “Ching-a-Ling” made it rounds on January 9, 2008, and managed to make the lead single for the soundtrack of Step Up 2 the Streets.

Joe Budden whose highly anticipated sophomore album was expected to be released on October 24th, has been pushed to February 24th of ‘09. According to a release the album was pushed back due to problems with the physical product.

Beyonce Knowles
R&B diva Beyonce Knowles’ is preparing to drop her third solo album which, according to Columbia Records, will be Beyonce’s “most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date,” reported Reuters.

The two releases off the album scheduled to land at radio October 7 are “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies.”
