Solar Responds To DJ Premier’s Comments Over Hip Hop Icon Guru’s Health Care

DJ Premier took to his Sirius radio show and made comments that Solar did not take care of Guru’s hygiene while he was comatose, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com. Premier says that when he visited Guru at the hospital, shortly before he died of cancer, Premier noticed that Guru’s finger and toe nails were dirty, needed to be cut and that he was unshaven.

Premier then went on his Sirius satellite radio show to speak his mind on Solar, who claimed to had previously stated that he took very good care of Guru up until he passed away from cancer on April 19th.

Solar has now shot back at Premier through a statement that he released to the public regarding his comments.

“Guru was cared for in the CCU at their highest level of care for a patient in his condition. I was at the hospital every day — some days numerous times to check on Guru,” Solar claimed adding that “He was always clean and well attended too.”

Solar goes on to say that the room Guru was in was “equipped with around-the-clock video surveillance as well as hospital personnel.”

Furthermore, he stated that he nor his people “would never tolerate any mistreatment of Guru in any way, shape, or form.”

Guru’s fan’s are still waiting on info about final memorial plans for the rapper.
