After his scheduled court date on today (March 5), singer Chris Brown, 19, on the alleged assault against girlfriend Rihanna born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, 21, has now been charged with two felonies: assault and making criminal threats.

On last month, the singer was accused of assaulting an unidentified woman after attending Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party (Feb. 8th) which the woman was later identified as being Rihanna, in numerous reports. Rihanna was 20 at the time of the reported incident. Brown later turned himself in to authorities where he was charged and then later released on $50,000 bail.

Allegedly, the celebrity couple, Rihanna and Chris Brown, had an argument, altercation that reportedly led Chris Brown, 19, to bite Rihanna on the arm and hand and to strike her in the face due to an argument over a phone call/text message.

The singer has been scheduled for an arraignment hearing today at 3:30 PM PST/ 5:30 PM CST.

Reportedly, if convicted, Chris Brown faces up to a maximum of four years and eight months in state prison with possible probation.
