Wendy Day, TMI Boyz and Kia Shine
Memphis rapper Kia Shine gets into a brawl with what seems to have been Texas group TMI Boyz at the Southern Entertainment Awards (S.E.A.). The rapper was stated to have been knocked down, a source tells www.HipHopRX.com, and received a busted lip during the brawl which the source says a photo and possible video footage could be hitting the internet soon.

According to MemphisRap.com rapper Kia Shine was dissing and making statements on what seemed to have been directed at music mogul and label consultant Wendy Day about ringtones, fake CD sales, etc. Wendy Day currently works with the TMI Boyz who recently made it on to the Billboard Charts. Wendy Day was said to have been talking about artists not making the money that they should be making during a stage speech in which she named Kia Shine. By Wendy Day mentioning Kia Shine’s name as one of the artist not making money this must have offended the rapper.

Now everyone is asking did the rapper have to call Day a bitch and other names a number of times while making his statement after he got his hands on the mic, because it is understandable that one would feel that something is directly targeted at them, but there is a right way to do things and presumably not while presenting at an awards show.

“I don’t even know why yall listening to that bitch,” the rapper reportedly stated.

Afterwards, Kia Shine began presenting an award at the show when after making an announcement of the winner, the rapper was then followed by Wendy Day who seemed to want to confront and talk with the rapper about his comments. Upon exiting the stage, Kia Shine was asked to exit to his left when suddenly a fight broke out and Kia Shine was knocked to the ground and seemingly jumped by others when the brawl was then joined by other members which all was shortly interrupted and stopped by Grand Casino resort security. - MemphisRap.com

This is the first time that a brawl has happened at the S.E.A. from what everyone believes. The awards have been going on since 2004 and first formally started in its hometown of Nashville, TN, but for the last few years have been held at the Grand Casino in Tunica, MS.
