Grammy Award winning Atlanta rapper T.I. will be sentenced to one year and one day in prison as a part of his plea deal on a felony weapons charge stemming from a 2007 incident.

As a part of the plea, the rapper completed 1,000 hours of community services and has to pay a $100,000 fine. After being released from prison, the rapper must complete another 500 hours as a part of the deal, submit to an audit, drug counseling and 60 days of home confinement.

Although Kanye West had been cleared of charges by the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office for an altercation with paparazzi affiliated with celebrity gossip site TMZ on last year at LAX airport as previously reported, the music producer/rapper now faces up to two and a half years in jail on charges filed by the L.A. city attorney’s office.

A rapper known as King Tut who allegedly is an affiliate of hip hop music group 730 Dips (of The Diplomats) is stated to have killed himself because he didn’t want to let officers apprehend him. The rapper was wanted for allegedly stabbing a young woman 27 times on last month (February 12) at an apartment in New Jersey shortly after being released from jail on a drug arrest.

Although rapper, female hip hop artist Lil Kim is having quick moving feet on the celebrity reality tv show and television series Dancing With the Stars, which was previously announced to have brought in high ratings for its 8th seasons premiere, unfortunately, the rapper’s tax debt has been revealed. The pint-sized rapper is stated to owe almost $980,000 dollars in taxes, just shy of about $20,000 of almost a $1 million.

Lil’ Kim born Kimberly Jones, reportedly owes the State of New York almost $13,000, almost $5,000 to California in tax liens, and the rest for a number of other liens in New Jersey all dating from between 2004 and 2008.

According to a representative for Lil Kim, the rapper is stated to be currently handling the debts that she owes.

Jim Jones reportedly got into an altercation where gunshots broke out on early Monday morning outside of a Detroit nightclub after allegedly getting into a fight with a couple of men.

There’s one reason why Grammy award winning rapper Lil Wayne may have a grin on his face and it’s not because of another paycheck. On Tuesday, rapper Lil Wayne’s felony drug charges were dropped after Judge Michael Johnson at the Fulton County Superior Court granted the rapper’s request to disregard evidence on the basis of an illegal search.
