Remy Ma Wanted For Questioning, Could Face Charges Of Attempted Murder

Rapper Remy Ma (Remynisce Smith), who’s most known for being a former artist of Terror Squad and for her appearance on the song “Lean Back,” is reportedly being sought for questioning by police due to a shooting that took place early Saturday in New York near the Pizza Bar at 48 Ninth Ave after a mutual friend’s birthday party. The New York Police Department spokesperson states that at around 3:14 a.m. a 23 year-old black woman named Makeda Barnes-Joseph was shot in her lower torso at the corner of 14th and Washington Streets in Manhattan, NY by another black woman in her 20′s.

Remy Ma was stated to have been with a group of people outside the Pizza Bar when a fight broke out in which Makeda Barnes-Jospeh was accused of stealing $2,000 from her. Just when Makeda Barnes-Joseph stepped foot into her Nissan Maxima, Remy Ma reportedly got out of a Cadillac Escalade and pulled open the driver’s side door of the Maxima and shot Barnes-Joseph twice.

Reportedly, Bobby Brown is expected to be performing in New Zealand, but authorities are wondering if he should be able to enter the country due to his previous past and problems with the law.

While authorities question whether or not the singer will be allowed into New Zealand, it seems that he has failed to apply for his visa prior to his scheduled performance dates.

Gun Charges Dropped Against Rapper Fabolous

More than a week ago, Manhattan prosecutors couldn’t prove a seized gun belonged to rapper Fabolous, so all the charges filed against him were dropped.

Last October, Fabolous was shot in the leg outside Justin’s in Manhattan, in a parking-lot fracas that occurred after someone snatched a $50,000 chain off NBA point guard Sebastian Telfair. Fabolous along with three other men drove to the hospital to treat his gunshot wound. They all were arrested at the hospital after NYPD searched-and-seized two unregistered handguns from the SUV they were driving.

Eve Pleads No Contest In DUI Case, Must Wear Alcohol Monitoring Device

Attorney Blair Berk plead no contest for his client Eve, the first lady of Ruff Ryders, for a DUI charge on June 28, 2007. The rapper who did not appear in court was tested in April with a blood alcohol level of .08 after she crashed her Maserati on Hollywood Blvd.

The judge ordered Eve to attach a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device to her ankle for 45 days, as well as pay $1400 in fines and enroll in the first offenders alcohol eduction program and serve 36 months of “informal” probation.

Rapper Foxy Brown “Inga Marchand,” 27, reportedly was set-up by her now ex-boyfriend after alledgely dumping him. According to reports, the rapper had attended a party with her boyfriend at the Louis H. Pink Houses at Crescent Street and Stanley Avenue in Brooklyn before dumping him after finding out he was a pimp. Reports state that four people teamed up on the female rapper, three of whom which were her boyfriends alleged women. The rapper was robbed for a Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards, a hearing aid and necklaces on Saturday at around 5:30 in the morning.
