Nicki Minaj’s Take Top Spot With New Album

 

Nicki Minaj’s sophomore album took it stand straight to the top, just as predicted it would.

Nicki Minaj’s newest album  Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded has debuted at number one on the charts.

According to Hits Daily Double, the Young Money Artsit moved 251,551 copies of her second release in its first week at retail. Nicki album was initially projected to sell 200-250,00o copies, making its first week sales slightly above expectations.

But even one unit above what was expected is still cause for celebration and a sure sign of success

Minaj recently spoke on how she returned to her rap roots for PF:RR. “[The evolution of my career has] just been peeling back the layers and now, it’s like the ultimate layer was me saying, ‘Now I’m going to do whatever kind of music that I want to do’…[it's] not always going to entail a hard Hip Hop beat, but sometimes it is,” she said.

And thus Nicki now proves to all her critics that she is not a gimmick she is an artist who is here to stay!
