K-Ci and JoJo (Jodeci) ‘Come Clean’ On New Reality Television Show On TVOne
R&B singers K-Ci and JoJo, most known from the platinum selling music group Jodeci which consisted of two sets of brothers — Dalvin and Donald ‘Devante’ DeGrate and Cedric ‘K-Ci’ and Joel ‘JoJo’ Hailey — and later as a duo “K-Ci and JoJo,” are set to have their own reality television show on TVOne.
The nine-episode docu-series will be hitting reality TV starting Tuesday, October 19th and will show the legendary popular music brothers living together for the first time in 10 years and them trying to salvage what’s left of their career after battling drugs and alcoholism.
The two Charlotte, North Carolina natives will go through a series of sessions such as medical treatments, physical training and spiritual therapy to help keep them on the right track as they fight alcoholism and revive their careers.
In this sneak peek, K-Ci & JoJo sat down with Dr. Thema to discuss the roles they’ve played in each others lives. In the clip, K-Ci says that if it wasn’t for JoJo, Jodeci would not exist.
K-Ci explained how he was the lil Michael of the family (Little Cedric & The Hailey Singers) and he was put on a pedestal and this is what brought JoJo to the decision that it was his time — after sitting in the background. K-Ci went on to say that he had to beg to be in the group, but JoJo wasn’t budging at first and told Devante that K-Ci has had his thing and it’s his time.
“K-Ci & JoJo…Come Clean” premieres October 19 at 9PM ET on TVOne.
