Wow! Rihanna brought in the New Year in Dubai by kissing Matt Kemp, L.A. Dodgers outfielder at midnight!!
Pop star Rihanna is moving on with her life, putting the drama of 2009 behind her and starting the year off with sexy baseball player, Matt Kemp.
A source says, “Things are really starting to heat up for the two.”
Matt (25), a native of Oklahoma, followed Rihanna (21) to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates where she performed at the Emirates palace on New Year’s Eve.
“Rihanna and Matt are starting to get serious – he even followed her to Dubai for New Years,” an insider tells Hollywoodlife.com, adding, ” Rihanna likes him because he is such a gentleman…and super sexy!”
However, it seems like Matt has a few requirements of his own of his perfect mate. In an interview with Yahoo Sports last summer, he listed a few things that he looks for in the perfect girl. Kemp likes his ladies strong, gorgeous and well-groomed.
Kemp lives in L.A. off-season, and so does Rihanna. Both travel and maybe their relationship will work out as long as she isn’t looking forward to settling down anytime soon. Kemp is commitment shy, reports Yahoo Sports, saying that, “That’s the most important part, independent.” Kemp stressed about his perfect girl, “somebody who can go off and do their own thing and not have to worry about me all the time.”
This may possibly be a change for the better for Rihanna, whose ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown (20), was found guilty of physically abusing her last year, as covered on HipHopRX.com. So, congratulations Rihanna. We wish you the best for 2010.
