S.O.D. Money Gang aka SODMG (Soulja Boy, Big HoodBoss, Lil B, Lil Playboii, JBAR) are starting off the new year 2010 with a brand new song and music video release entitled ‘Fire It Up’. The single ‘Fire It Up’ released on the first of the year and is the first single released from off S.O.D. Money Gang Presents: The Loud Vol. 1 on SODMG Records aka S.O.D. Money Gang Entertainment.
S.O.D. Money Gang Entertainment was founded by rapper and SODMG member Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em in 2004 and since has become a collective of talent including the likes of originally marketed members Soulja Boy, JBAR, and Arab and now newest members Big HoodBoss of Dallas TX, Lil B of Berkeley CA and Lil Playboii of Atlanta GA (the originator of the ‘Crank Dat’ dance) all featured in the new song/music video ‘Fire It Up’.
Along with the music video which seemed to have been filmed the same day of it’s debut on New Years Day, January 1, 2010, Soulja Boy also released a collage of photos taken from the shoot which he twitpic-d a photo of via his Twitter blog.
‘Fire It Up’ music video follows another feature with Soulja Boy on Snoop Dogg’s latest release entitled “Pronto” which released last month, December 2009.
In related news, BET (Black Entertainment Television) just released it’s list of Best 100 music videos of 2009 and rapper Soulja Boy made the list coming in at #5 for “Turn My Swagg On” and #16 for “Kiss Me Through The Phone” featuring Sammie.
