Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie has teamed up with Avon Products, Inc to collaborate on a fragrance which will reportedly embody her unique character and appeal. The announcement that Fergie teamed up with the longtime running women’s beauty company which rakes in over $10 billion in annual revenue was announced only a few weeks ago.
On last week, Fergie made her first appearance on behalf of Avon at the Avon Foundation for Women Annual Gala Event in New York City where she performed in support of Avon’s charitable efforts.
Meanwhile, the fragrance is stated to be still in development where Fergie is being hands-on with participating in creating the scent, packaging, name and campaign.
The fragrance is expected to launch globally in August 2010 and in the U.S. in November 2010 and will be available via Avon Representatives worldwide.
Fergie isn’t the first celebrity to partner with Avon, other celebrities who premiered fragrances through the company include Avon’s other partners Reese Witherspoon, Patrick Dempsey, Courteney Cox, among others.
