Monday was Kanye West’s day as the airwaves/TV/Internet flocked to get the latest scoop on him grabbing the mic from Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video award. Coincidentally Kanye then appeared on the Prime Time debut of the Jay Leno Show and got all emotional.
West apologized once, then twice, as reported on HipHopRX.com and then again on Jay Leno.
Jay Leno asked West, “If your mother was here today what do you think she would say about this?” After 20 seconds, West finally answers.
Following Kanye West’s appearance on Jay Leno, the rapper reportedly contacted Taylor Swift directly and the two talked about the incident.
Furthermore, Taylor Swift, publicly, is reportedly done with the incident following talking with Kanye West and doesn’t want to talk about it anymore, according to inside sources.
