Eminem’s ‘Bruno Butt Prank’ Staged?! Now Word of Bruno Movie In July

If it’s too good to be true, it probably is and with Eminem being the butt of jokes since the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, more has been slowly revealed on Bruno, born as Sacha Baron Cohen, who’s also known as the characters Borat and Ali G.

Following the incident involving hip hop artist Eminem and comedian Bruno’s butt which landed in Eminem’s face at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, many fans were left wondering was the incident staged or a prank gone wrong. Well, an MTV writer has ‘let the cat out the bag’ that the act was purely staged and had been rehearsed during dress rehearsal and now there are reports of a Bruno movie. Yes, Bruno on the big screen.

“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged…” two of MTV’s writers, head writer Andy Samberg and comedy writer Scott Aukerman confirmed on their blogs. “They rehearsed it at dress,” one statement said then went on to say, “…and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”

It seems that the ‘Eminem, Bruno incident’ was simply a way for Universal Pictures to introduce Bruno to the world since reportedly they were having a hard time capturing the attention of viewers on video networks.

So there you have it….. Sacha Baron Cohen as Bruno, reportedly coming to the movie theaters July 10th.

If it was staged, evidentally, it worked out well for Bruno, but what has the incident done or will do for hip hop music artist Eminem?!
