Snoop Dogg Becomes First Living Rap Icon ‘Waxed’ At ‘Madame Tussauds’

Rapper Snoop Dogg, well a wax figure sculpture version cementing the legendary status of the music industry icon, hip-hop star, actor, and reality television star of the reality tv series Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood and new tv talk show Dogg After Dark, will soon be unveiled at the world famous wax museum, Madame Tussauds.

Madame Tussauds, who announced last week that they will be immortalizing Snoop Dogg in wax, are known for the infamous wax sculptures of names such as the late Tupac Shakur, Evander Holyfield, the late Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious B.I.G., Justin Timberlake, the late Jackie Robinson, Beyoncé, Shaquille O’Neal, Diana Ross, Tiger Woods, the late Ella Fitzgerald, the late Elvis Presley, the late and beloved James Brown, the late and infamous poet and writer William Shakespeare, and yes, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama as well, just to name a few.

Snoop Doggy Dogg’s wax sculpture will make the rap icon the first living rapper to be ‘waxed’ at the famous Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas.

The wax figure, valued at an estimated $300,000, of Snoop Doggy Dogg, real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr., 36, will be unveiled on April 20, 2009.
