Tuesday morning (Dec. 30), rapper DMX, born Earl Simmons, 38, who has been in the media on multiple occasions for multiple run-ins with the law and several missed court dates, pled guilty to his multiple various charges which date back to April of this year. The charges include multiple drug possession charges, theft and animal cruelty charges.
Because of the rapper’s guilty plea in Maricopa County court this morning to one count of animal cruelty, one count of theft, and one count each of felony possession of marijuana and a narcotic drug, he will have additional charges dismissed.
DMX will be sentenced in Maricopa County Superior Court on January 30.
