Beyoncé Knowles, 25, visited two injured fans for about 45 minutes at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital who were accidentally injured when the pyrotechnics spilled into the front row at a concert that was being held in St. Louis on Sunday (July 8). The two injured fans received a surprise emergency room visit from the singer herself in which the injuries are stated to have been minor.

Head nurse Darryl Williams told reporters, “She (Beyoncé) was just very concerned about the people injured in the audience. It was unannounced and we kept it very low-key so that she could spend time with them. “I just thought it was a great thing for someone of her stature to do.”

As for Beyoncé, she stated on her website that she found footage on several video sharing websites of the incident and calls it “very unfortunate”. (Click More To Watch Video)

“I visited the two fans who were injured in hospital right after the show and I am grateful that they will both be alright. My life and career have been blessed with the support of the best fans in the world. Their safety and well-being will always be a top priority and one of my biggest concerns,” Beyoncé said in her statement.
