BET Awards 2007 Best Moments and Performances

BET Awards 2007
The BET 2007 Awards Show jumped off ‘proper’ … in the beginning you can see 50 Cent and Ciara seated next to each other as though they are a new hot celebrity couple, as previously reported. Starting things out, boxing ring announcer Michael Buffer who shouted, “Are you ready to jiggle?,” introduced BET Awards 2007 host, comedian Mo’Nique (Parkers, Charm School) who represented the ‘Big Girls’ or as she puts it ‘Phat Girls’ with her major, major intro following the outstanding performance by Jennifer Hudson who performed “Tell You” alongside original performer, legendary singer Jennifer Holiday. Beyonce got much love from host Mo’Nique who referred to the singer as “The Queen”.

T.I. did his thing live with “Big Things Poppin’. He showed respect by giving love to rapper L.L. Cool J., and others. One guy was left hanging though with his hand out expecting T.I. to give him ‘five’ but the rapper didn’t respond leaving the guy hanging.

Did anyone happen to catch Diana Ross dancing to T.I.’s performance? We ain’t mad atcha Ms. Diana! Do yo thang. Diana looked fabulous like the Diva she is!

Diddy, Keyshia Cole, and Lil Kim performed song “Last Night” with a special appearance from Keyshia Cole’s nips. I mean if you didn’t see them, then you just weren’t looking. OMG, Beyonce, could she walk, look, shake, dance, be, any sexier? That’s all that needs to be said on that, period.

Kelly Rowland followed Beyonce with a hot performance, which ended in a split screen photo pose of both Beyonce and Kelly with a cameo by Beyonce’s sexy sister, Solange and Destiny’s Child member Michelle.

T.I., in the midst of accepting his award for “Best Hip-Hop Artist,” apologized for acting a little “unroyal” last week as he stated. For those that don’t know, the rapper got into a physical confrontation with Ludacris’ manager, “Chaka Zulu” as previously reported earlier this week.

Moments after Robin Thicke’s performance, which was an alright performance, actor Anthony Anderson and model Lauren London, who was announced as the ‘first lady of Atlanta’, were introduced so that they could announce a brief performance by T-Pain who came on stage with two others dressed like a nerdy golf team (for comedy sake, not by accident we hope!).

Moving on, Patti Labelle, we love you, but that dress you had on, un un … was Prince hiding under there? Love and respect goes to Gerald Levert’s tribute by Patti Labelle, his dad Eddie Levert, Yolanda Adams and Gladys Knight.

Sexy model Toccara (America’s Next Top Model contestant) was coming out of her clothes while jacking lines from her BET counterpart, Joe Clair. (Continued on next page…)
