Rapper Lil Boosie born Torrence Hatch, was indicted before a grand jury on Thursday in East Baton Rouge. The Louisiana hip hop artist was charged with first degree murder for allegedly being involved in a shooting which took place last October where one man, Terry Boyd, 35, died.

Rapper Lil Boosie Pleads Guilty, Sentenced To 2 Years In Prison
On Tuesday, September 22, 2009, Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie born Torrence Hatch, 26, made an agreement with prosecutors and plead guilty to a third-offense marijuana possession charge stemming from 2008 in which he was found in possession of a bag of marijuana, another drug substance and a gun during a traffic stop, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com.

Managers of Hip-Hop Label Trill Entertainment Released On Bond
Trill Entertainment managers Melvin Vernell Jr., 35, of Baton Rouge, and Marcus Roach, 35, of Prairieville have both been released from prison on bond May 18th, 2009, after being arrested on attempted murder.
