Rapper Drake Nearly Arrested in Jamaica For His ‘Foul’ Mouth


Young Money recording artist Drake evades being arrested after using foul language during a music concert performance in Jamaica.

Drake, who was just stopping through to do a surprise performance with reggae artist Mavado, was almost arrested at Brit Jam 2011 in Montego Bay, Jamaica last week.

The rapper’s set was cut short after his bodyguards whisked him off stage to avoid getting arrested for his foul mouth. Police officer’s warned Drake of the no profanity law but the rapper failed to heed the officer’s advice.

The rapper, actor, and businessman claims that he only posted the comments on twitter for shock value and whether we “hate it or love it,” 50 Cent claims “I’m cool anyways.”

Red Cross Launches Japan Effort With Katy Perry, P. Diddy, Chris Brown, Others


Celebrities are using their social pull to get help for the people affected by Friday’s massive Japan earthquake and tsunami. Katy Perry tweets early Sunday morning for everyone to remember to “pray for Japan” and asked her followers to text REDCROSS to 90999, as the American Red Cross organization has now joined the effort for Japan recovery.

The American Red Cross is working with celebrities and accepting donations of $10 or more which will go to Japan’s emergency relief effort.

Celebs are using twitter to offer personal tributes and prayers for the people who have been devastated by the tragedy.

Japan Aftershocks Continue After Earthquake As Tsunami Waves Hit California


Japan is still trembling from aftershocks as a result of the massive 8.9 earthquake that shook the country on Friday (March 11).

Just minutes after the quake rocked the island of Japan, the unleashing of a huge tsunami began wreaking havoc across the globe, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com.

The U.S. National Weather Service quickly issued tsunami warnings for about 50 countries and territories that may lie in the path of the killer wave. Seven foot waves slammed into the Hawaiian islands causing minimal damage to piers and marinas.

Japan Earthquake Cancels American Flights; Most Americans in Japan Accounted For


Fifteen Friday and Saturday flights to and from the Narita and Haneda airports in Tokyo were canceled due to the horrific earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

LAX spokespersons say terminals affected by the cancellations had few stranded passengers because they were able to notify ticket holders well ahead of time for take-off.

Reggae star Buju Banton Faces Life In Prison Over Federal Drug Charges


Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton faces life in prison for federal drug trafficking charges.

Buju Banton, who is nominated for a Grammy Award for his album “Dawn” will be in court on Monday for federal drug trafficking charges for the second time after previously having a deadlocked/hung jury in September 2010. According to reports, Buju Banton born Mark Myrie, 37, was video taped by authorities testing cocaine in 2009. The artist is stated to have placed his finger in the illegal drug substance to get a sampling of it.
