Sunday night, January 17th was the night of the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California and the stars were in the house and on the spot! Actors, actresses and cast members from some of the year’s best movies showed up and showcased out including Mo’Nique of Precious, Zoe Saldana of Avatar, Sandra Bullock of The Blind Side, Golden Globes 2010 Presenter Halle Berry, Leona Lewis, who’s song I See You (the theme from Avatar) was nominated for ‘Best Original Song,’ and others.

Saturday night, January 16, 2010 marked the night of The 3rd Annual BET Honors which was held at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. and the event was a star studded show with appearances from the likes of BET Honors winner Whitney Houston, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Stevie Wonder, Queen Latifah, Patti LaBelle, Mary J Blige and others.

Taking home awards this year was not a surprise as they were actors, actress and cast members who played a role in some of the best movies of the year including Avatar, Blind Side, Julie and Julia, Sherlock Holmes, The Hangover, Precious and others.

Taking home Best Actress awards were, again, no surprise with Sandra Bullock taking home Golden Globes “Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama” for her role in “The Blind Side” and Meryl Streep taking home “Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy” for her role in “Julie and Julia.”
