Fifteen Friday and Saturday flights to and from the Narita and Haneda airports in Tokyo were canceled due to the horrific earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
LAX spokespersons say terminals affected by the cancellations had few stranded passengers because they were able to notify ticket holders well ahead of time for take-off.

The Japan Earthquake heard worldwide, at least via the news, has reportedly left hundreds dead and was immediately followed by a Japan Tsunami. The Japan Earthquake is being recorded as a 8.9 earthquake making it the fifth largest earthquake since 1900 to hit the Pacific coast.

Waka Flocka gets nude for PETA’s “Ink, Not Mink” ad campaign. The rapper is bearing all with hopes that fewer animals will have to.
Waka is joining PETA in an effort to prevent all the suffering that innocent animals go through everyday when they are slaughtered for their fur. According to PETA, Waka is urging the hip-hop community to “understand what you buy.”

Actor/rapper and businessman Will Smith will be starring in Men In Black III (MIB) alongside Tommy Lee Jones, who’s also reportedly returning to the trilogy. The third installment of the movie is expected to be released in 3D. While this is good news, there seems to be some kind of clash with the script of the movie which the movie setting is reported to take place mainly in 1969.

Amber Portwood of MTV’s reality show Teen Mom was caught on camera assaulting her boyfriend, Gary Shirley, after he told her he planned to call child services on her over their 23 month old baby, Leah. On the show, Amber smacked Gary in the face and continued to hit him cornering him into the apartment wall.

In a previous episode of Dancing with the Stars, ‘Jersey Shore’s Mike Sorrentino stormed off stage after his performance with partner, Karina Smirnoff. After getting some pretty bad feedback from the judges and working so hard, Mike tells Us Magazine “I don’t know what their deal was… I stormed off.. because I tried so hard.. I changed my haircut…” Mike continued that he was impressed with the lifts that he and Karina “pulled off.”

Last night was a big night for the hip hop industry and all hip hop lovers. At the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj were crowned King and Queen of rap. Wow… Nicki Minaj is just starting out and Jay-Z has been in his career for at least twenty years. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys got the Perfect Combo Award for “Empire State of Mind”. Made-You-Look Style awards went out to Nicki Minaj, B.o.B., Jay-Z, T.I. and Kanye West.

Bristol Palin of ‘ Dancing With the Stars ‘ performed the rumba with partner Mark Ballas and got some pretty harsh criticism. The score for the sexy Rumba was a fourteen for performance and an eighteen for technical. The score was a devastating thirty-two out of sixty. The performance left Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas at the bottom two.

Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson’s film company,’Cheetah Vision Films,’ has just completed a deal that will give his company $200 million to fund a ten picture deal. Randall Emmet and George Furla’s Hedge Fund Partners have signed on a deal with 50 that will expand his film resume.

In the November issue of W Magazine, Kim Kardashian will be turning a lot of heads as she poses naked with only silver airbrushing. According to Extra, Kim, who claims that she used to be insecure (seriously?) said, “I used to think I had to be this or that or skinny, and now, because of the show, everyone is embracing just me, which has given me such confidence.”
