Kendrick Lamar Doesn’t Vote?!

We’ve heard time and time again how important it is to make your voice count and go out and vote. But for the first time, there is an artist who says he does not believe in voting because the outcome will be the same regardless.

Kendrick Lamar claims that no matter what the tally is at the end of the day, other forces “beyond people” render voting useless.

Alternative News caught up with K Dot and went over a few topics, but the one topic that stood atop everything else is whether he thinks voting makes a difference or not. K Dot doesn’t vote, and the reason behind this is because he claims that there are forces beyond the government controlling things that render an individual ballot useless.

“My vote counts? I don’t do no voting. I will keep it straight up real with you. I don’t believe in none of the shit that’s going on in the world,” he said.

“You talk with me, you talk with me for hours because everything has a contradiction, everything is higher ranking and way beyond us, way beyond people. So basically, do what you do, do good with your people and live your life because what’s going on isn’t really in our hands.”

“When I say the president can’t even control the world, then you definitely know there’s something else out there pushing the buttons,” he continued. “They could do whatever they want to do, we all puppets. Just play your cards right.”
