I got respect for Nicki but I got utmost respect for Kim. you young Nicki fans don’t know music or hip hop history, I have nothing against Nicki per say I just think what she puts out is pop-rap
lyrically Lil Kim is more prolific and maybe you didn’t listen to Black Friday because Roman’s Revenge can’t even come close, the only reason that song goes hard is cause of Em. He honestly made her flow sound stupid.
And as for Kim, she’s not using Nicki was a step to get back into the game. She was in jail and when she got out her label contract was expired which was why she didn’t have anything out there, she was working on getting a label…know your shit before you go hard.
It was a known fact that Kim was going to start rapping after release Nicki just came with that weak lil song like a poodle yapping at a pitbull.
Had Roman’s revenge never happened I’m pretty sure Kim’s 1st release back into mainstream would not have been a diss song against Nicki.
And if you go back not too far, you’ll see that Nicki bullshitted on that interview claiming she respected Kim. When she first came out and they asked her if she was paying homage to Kim and things like that her response was along the lines of why do I gotta pay homage to her. Can’t have short-term memory when it comes to hip-hop. Y’all young Nicki die-hards need to get your knowledge up.
