There is only ONE judge that’s GOD all else is heresay and your opinion please be mindful of how/who you put your mouth on. “Touch not MY annointed and do my prophet NO harm! Careful ,people!! Preachers, teachers, & Bishops are human people prone to error. Pray for all parties involved. “If my people who are called by MY name would humble themselves, seek my face & PRAY then will I hear from heaven & heal the land.
Again, I say PRAY that the God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

i am sorry to hear about this unfortunate siturations regarding the bishop and his four accusers at the same time may i asked this questions how is it these young men take so long to say anything ? i am wondering if the allegations happen and if the gifts that they say they got keep them quit ? there is a lot of questions for these men since they are comming out now . only god can judge mankind

I do not believe any of this! may God have mercy upon those who are using this to destroy Eddie Long. If he is guilty, it will hurt me because I believe in him, but he is still mere flesh and can fail us at anytime. Pray for all involved, not judge, because only God has that authority.

First I would like to say that prayer for the bishop and these young men are needed! As a women of God and a victim of molestation; it easy for everyone to take sides, being a victim…. means person who suffers from an injurious action or event, person who is cheated.. lets remove the sex scandal from the picture. Now, have you ever been victimize in any way.. meaning, scammed or taking advantage of, especially by someone that is a family member or considered a family member.. if you look at majority of molestation cases, they are reported when the victim who was a child is now an adult. that’s why in most states the statue of limitations on these case have been extended, whether it’s repressed memory or just to embarrassed, and for some of these cases even though that person has hurt you.. you don’t want to see them punished, because in some strange way.. basically the victim falls in love with the attacker you can google this it’s true! I can’t say for sure what or why this is coming to light now.. all i can say is’ now that it has been called to our attention let’s address it! You don’t want to turn your head on this case. cause years later you might here from another young man! The bishop has many to back him including his 30,000 church member’s can you say the same for these young men do you believe they have the same support? God reveals all in due time and whether your in the pool pit or in the pews, the victim or the victimizer! You will be dealt with!

I know the truth in this case so I can speak on this issue. I was a follower of Eddie Long for 5 years. The day Eddie Long spoke to the congregation was the last day of my membership at New Birth. It was a sad day for my friends, family and myself. Not everyone was clapping at his every word. Not everyone got up and shouted how much they loved him. When they passed the bucket for tithes and offering, not everyone gave. Yes, there were a large number of members believing in every word Mr. Long said. If Mr. Long came out and said he did any wrong, they would still follow him. It’s almost as if they praise him more than God. Today, I am still hurting because I am confused about if I will ever attend another church. Eddie Long has an addiction like any abuser and at this point in his life, his fame and high regards of himself would not let him confess. He had too much to lose, too much is at stake and as you know money is the root of all evil. Eddie Long has been preying on young boys for over ten years. This is not something that started with Jamal or any of the Spiritual Sons in the media. He has been chasing after boys for YEARS! There are “victims” that are now in their late 20′s or early 30′s. Do you think they are going to come out, heck no! To answer some questions, did his wife know? YES! As Mr. Long has no problem telling people close to him, they stopped having sex a couple of years ago. Did his body guards/security know? YES! Elders, pastor, some old and current member, yes, yes and yes. Eddie was so scare of catching a STD he blocked female contact with these guys. He made it seem like he was the safest option. As some guys in the gay community would say, Eddie Long has been a queen for years. So why did his wife stay knowing her husband was dipping out on her, because of money, and the luxury. When your husband cheats on you with another man, who are you going to tell..really? Matter of fact, go to YouTube and watch his sermon/almost confession and see how tight Vanessa’s face was. Then check out the press conference after church, look at her face and you will see the truth. If there is any doubt from anyone, please know that Bishop Eddie Long is 1000% guilty. I pray for all of the young men (about 40) over the years dealing with this issue. Some asked why they took so long, but I am sure the people asking have never been sexually abused or molested. A child or adult sexually abused RARELY comes out and tell their loved one. When I was young the neighborhood kids came out and told on the man sexually abusing them. It was about 5 girls and till this day I am the only one that never said anything because of fear. Not fear of him but fear of if I would be treated differently by my family. I knew my mother would believed me but I did not want our relation to change or for her to treat me like a victim. He sexually abused me for years…luring me with candy (silly me but I was 6) to get me near the house. How I ended up on the bed, I really can’t remember. Ladies and gents, sexual abuse is real and I think we should applaud these men for being so brave to tell the world they want Eddie Long to stop preying on young men. And that is real talk. I put God first which is why I am telling you all the truth. Eddie and Vanessa needs to put God first and not themselves before God.

Ok, here we go. The Bible is the final authority for real Christians. Stop giving your opinions and KNOW what the Bible says. King David was a man after God’s own heart. He loved God and played music. He worship God in psalms. David was special and the greatest King to rule Israel for over 35 years. But, David was still a man. A fragile, human being with issues he needed to address. David had Uriah killed because of the adultery with Bathsheba. Sorry, but you will have to read your Bible to understand the direction I am taking. It was the Prophet Nathan who told David about his sin. A story was told about an owner of a little ewe and another man who had a great flock. You have to read your Bible to understand the direction I am taking. David knew he was wrong. Conviction is a powerful thing. It penetrates the heart and will leave you restless until you come to the knowledge of the truth. David’s reaction was fasting, prayer and repentance. This is the lesson anyone who sins should take. Not just Bishop Long or the four young men….BUT YOU AND ME. We have all sinned and come short of His Glory. What makes us so special to keep discussing meaningless gossip. My Bible tells me when the men condemned the woman in adultery, Jesus stooped to the ground and started writing. Then he told the men that he who was without sin should be the first to cast a stone. Because the men were convicted of their own mistakes in life, they all walked away. Jesus then turned to the woman and asked her where did her accusers go? She responded they don’t accuse me any longer. Jesus responded, “Neither do I…go and sin no more.” See, this is the direction I must take. I don’t know who is right or wrong. I pray for myself and them too. I just know God is the Final Judge and everyone else is a liar. NO sin is greater than another. Please brothers and sisters…CHECK YOURSELF unless it’s too late and YOU HAVE ALREADY WRECKED YOURSELF.

Every body is speaking on the young men. What about the Bishop. They were boys looking for someone that would love them. If you notice. They said that he was a father figure. They trusted him and yeah he gave them things. That helped. Think about a child. Yours if you have any. Kids may and I say may do as you tell them, but add a gift to it. They’re more willing. Jealously may have been a part of the tell all story and being hurt may have been the other, but that full grown man with a wife and playing with God IF this come to light will pay the biggest price of all and all that stands behind him should be looked upon also.

I think, no one should publicize anything regarding any such a thing, unless you can bring hard concrete evidence! There is something wrong with this picture! If he did this crime; he should be punished, but he he diddn’t those young men, should pay the highest cost on submitting lies to anyone, or anybody that’s above them! Just imagining money would be a gross part of the picture? Why? Atlanta is a shunned city of gay men, and if the bishop be punished and the boys not, then shame on the whole city! This is hogwash! If you keep your children from such people, we all would be safe! Amen to that!

I feel sooooo bad for these young men! It’s like the congregation could care less about them! All they are worrying about it reverand low down long; falling all over the floor like lunatics when he walked out to address them for the first time since the allegations! It sickens me to death that grown people turn their backs on young children who are despritely crying out for help! No wonder children are afraid to tell of bad things that maybe happening to them, because of fools like this congregation! They are nothing short of a cult! They are SELFISH individuals! They are no different than David Karesh or Jim Brown! These boys will have to live with this nightmare for the rest of their lives! Also, there have been a couple of young men who have came out and said “I was a member of Longfellows and this never happened to me!” They don’t realize that sexual predators select certain individuals as targets; they don’t do it to everyone. Bishop Long has taken away their childhoods, how sad! The boys are in my prayers and I wish them nothing but the best from this day forward.
