Did any of you “get” the fact that he’s a likable, funny guy to be around, hense him saying during his victory speech that his daughters were “available”… it was funny and you could see how embarrassed his daughters and his wife were, and then afterward the daughters said “that was just our Dad being “Dad”. About dam time a politician isn’t hesitating at every word he says and just speaks from the heart. I trust this guy, he’s down-to-earth and he’s “like us”. He’s funny AND quick-witted like when, during a debate with Coakley, the guy asked him how he was going to be able to go against the healthcare bill after he has stepped into “Ted Kennedy’s seat”… and he shot right back withouth hesitation, “with all due respect, it’s not Ted Kennedy’s seat, it’s the People’s Seat!” I loved that and it’s what makes me love this guy. I know who he is and what he stands for. That’s more than I can say for the guy in the Oval Office.
