Young Buck Gets Banned In Atlanta

Young Buck
Tennessee rapper Young Buck (David Darnell Brown) recently got himself banned from Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9. After performing on November 26th at Atlanta’s Club Nocturnal Young Buck is stated to have announced that he had some business to handle with DJ Will of Hot 107.9 who was deejaying before Young Buck performed. The cause of the stem was that DJ Will played The Game’s hit single “It’s Ok (One Blood)” earlier that evening. Sources state that Young Buck grabbed DJ Will by his shirt and even though DJ Will was outnumbered he bravely stood up to Young Buck and his entourage. Due to the incident the program director Jerry Smokin’ B of Hot 107.9 banned G-Unit rapper from the entire station’s playlist which may have an effect on his overall sales and airplay in that region.

Because of this Young Buck may have gotten himself into trouble not only due to him being on probation for an incident which occurred at the 2004 Vibe Awards, but also due to a relationship with BME Recordings that may sour since DJ Will is a part of BME.

This isn’t the first DJ altercation for G-Unit. Weeks ago The Game caused problems with another Hot 107.9 Atlanta DJ, King Arthur at an afterparty in which he had hosted after the BET Hip-Hop Awards.

At press time, representatives for both Interscope Records and Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 declined comment.

Young Buck has recently become the president of his newly created label imprint called Cashville Records known as G-Unit South.

La Chat - Bad Influence

Tyra Banks Talk show guest proposes to Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs

P. Diddy
You’d think that most young girls like 17 year-old Irene wouldn’t have the nerves to ask someone like Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs to marry them.

The 17-year-old young woman appeared as a guest on Tyra Banks Talk Show where she spoke about her obsession and how she dressed her boyfriend up to resemble music mogul Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs. What Irene didn’t know is that Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs would be making a grande entrance just to see her.

Say what? Irene not only stunned Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs, but also the audience when she popped him the big question. I have one question for you, “Would you marry me?,” states Irene.

In awe, Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs replied, “I’m not ready to get married.”

Irene promptly replied to him, “You will be in one year and 22 days – I’ll be 18.”

Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs tried explaining to Irene that he already has a pregnant girlfriend “Kim Porter”, which left Irene again shocking the audience by replying that, “She’s nothing like me.”

Kim Porter probably isn’t like young Irene due to her bluntness and ready for a yes or no answer from Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs. Whether or not this will affect her obsession with the superstar, no one really knows. The guess it that it was better to ask than never asking at all, since it was a once in a lifetime chance for the young woman.

The 37 year-old Sean Combs is currently expecting twin girls within the next month from his longtime girlfriend.

“I know she deserves to get married. But I’m just not ready,” Combs had said earlier.

“It’s not a reflection on how much I love Kim. It’s that I’m just learning how to be a good boyfriend. When I’m finished with this step, I’ll move on to the next,” he added.

Inaddition to 17 year-old Irene’s marriage proposal, she also revealed that she had skipped school to watch the rapper’s reality TV show ‘Making The Band 3′

Fat Joe
For nearly fifteen years, the rap veteran and hip hop legend Joseph Antonio Cartagena, better known as ‘Fat Joe’ from Bronx, New York, has been in the game dropping albums. Now, Joe is back with his seventh solo album, entitled “Me, Myself & I,” which will be dropping on November 14th. Though 13 years in the game, when many other rappers felloff years before that, Fat Joe has shown he plans to stand on solid ground; which is evident in the first single off the album, “Make It Rain” featuring Lil Wayne. With the South being a much more major market than in the past Fat Joe makes it clear he’s no hater and isn’t afraid of change with lyrics like “Now why is everybody so mad at the South for/Change your style up/Switch to Southpaw.”

Joe’s size, though large in person and in career, hasn’t slowed the rapper down at the least as he has been on the grind on the road doing promo in L.A., Atlanta, Miami, Chicago last week and is heading to New York, Philly, Wash D.C, Richmond and back to Atlanta for the Hip Hop Awards next week.

You can also catch Fat Joe on radio personality Angie Martinez show on HOT 97 November 14th at 3 p.m.

In related news, Joe recently lent his voice to the new movie “Happy Feet,” about a penguin named Mumble, who is an aspiring singer, that will be released in theatres November 17th. “Happy Feet” features Robin Williams, Hugh Jackman, Elijah Wood (voice of Mumble) and Brittany Murphy. The short movie summary is as follows:

In the great nation of Emperor Penguins, deep in Antarctica, you’re nobody unless you can sing–which is unfortunate for Mumble, who is the worst singer in the world. He is born dancing to his own tune–tap dancing. Though Mumble’s mom, Norma Jean (voice of Nicole Kidman), thinks this little habit is cute, his dad, Memphis (voice of Hugh Jackman), says it “just ain’t penguin.”
