Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Album Download No. 1, Sells 518K

Kanye West’s debut week for his ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ album is #1 as he predicted. ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,’ his fifth studio album, which was released on November 22, 2010, managed to sell roughly 518,775 copies.

Although the album cover art became a controversial topic due to the nature of the artistic art and was banned from certain store outlets due to an armless winged phoenix (woman) visibly showing her breasts and derriere while straddling a painted Kanye West, it seems to not have hindered his sales.

As for special guests, the album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ features the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Swizz Beatz, RZA, John Legend, Kid Cudi, Raekwon, Rick Ross, amongst others and almost all the production was by Kanye West in collaboration with a few other notable producers.

Meanwhile, as Kanye West stands at #1, female rapper Nicki Minaj falls into place in the #2 spot with 371,049 copies, as reported on HipHopRX.com, followed by country music star Taylor Swift who is still holding on for her album “Speak Now” released October 25, 2010.

In other news, Kanye West is working on a new album “Watch the Throne” in collaboration with rapper Jay-Z. The album “Watch the Throne” is expected to release sometime in 2011.

Caught on Tape: Rapper Paul Wall Beats Fan With Mic On Stage With Slim Thug

Seems like rapper Paul Wall was in a seriously bad mood during a car show concert in Texas when a concert-goer from the crowd allegedly flipped him off with the finger. What did Paul Wall do after the fan allegedly gave him the finger — he allegedly beat the fan with his microphone and the whole incident was caught on tape.

Paul Wall can be seen in the video, obtained by TMZ, performing on stage with rapper Slim Thug when Paul Wall can be seen leaning over apparently having some words with a concert-goer who at some point gave the rapper the finger, and that’s when the mic starting flying.

Paul Wall can be seen swinging the microphone again and again but from the angle of the camera, there’s little to see besides Paul Wall swinging.

The incident apparently happened on Sunday night at the Low Low Car Show in San Antonio, Texas.

As of yet, there have been no reports of charges filed and the concert-goer was allegedly removed from the show.
