This past weekend a photo was taken of President-elect Barack Obama, who was taking a nice stroll sporting a pair of black shorts while shirtless holding a bottled water suggesting that he may have just had an intensive work-out and was heading for a nice rest on the beach.

President George Bush made a surprise visit in Iraq earlier but wasn’t welcomed, at least by one journalist who threw his pair of shoes at the President during a press conference Sunday, December 14, 2008. It happened while Bush was standing next to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
President Bush dodged one shoe then another shoe as the man screamed at Bush who used his combat skills to dodge each thrown shoe.

In a turn of events for the Republican party, it seems that in a race for the Georgia Senate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Atlanta rapper Ludacris found themselves in a battle involving Georgia Senate candidates.
While reputed ’soccer mom’ Palin urged Georgia voters to back Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss in Tuesday’s runoff that reportedly underscored her popularity within the Republican Party, ‘hip hop artist’ Ludacris on the other end, was at a state Capitol rally with Democrat Jim Martin. The other candidate in the Senate race, making it a three-way, was Libertarian candidate, Allen Buckley.

As President Bush prepares to leave from the White House to make room for the newly elected President Barack Obama, Bush plays catch-up by issuing pardons or reduced sentences. Out of one of the 16 current people to be either pardoned or to receive a reduced sentence, rapper and producer John Forte known for his affiliation and production for the Fugee’s will be one to receive a reduced sentence. As a part of the reduced sentence Forte who was arrested in 2000 now only has to serve half of his 14 year sentence.

The song “It’s A New Day” follows behind his previous song supporting the campaign of President-Elect Barack Obama “Yes We Can”, which he released in January 2008 that was directed by Jesse Dylan.

Before speaking in front of more than 100,000 people in Chicago, Illinois after his projected winning was announced across broadcasting networks, Barack Obama graced the stage with wife Michelle Obama and their two daughters Sasha and Malia.
