Solange Knowles visited Hot 97 in New York and spoke with Angie Martinez about FOX news calling Barack Obama’s wife Michelle Obama, ‘Obama’s baby mama.’ She also spoke about having a sense of thinking and standing up for your family. In the interview Angie also asked Solange about her interview with Fox 5 in which she snapped on the news anchor right when the show went live. Solange addresses her abrupt lash-out stating she was hearing them in the background saying to ask her about Jay-Z. and that the interview was suppose to be about her album.

These two can’t seem to get out of trouble or is trouble finding them. On today, Lil Wayne and Yung Berg were expected to appear in court in New York in which they failed to appear. Wanye faces gun possession charges and for drugs found on his tour bus in 2007 and Yung Berg faces gun charges for an incident that happened over this past weekend. (more…)

Rapper Yung Berg reportedly was arrested in New York City on yesterday after police investigated a complaint by a limo driver. According to reports, the limo driver stated that there was a dispute amongst five passengers which resulted in the rapper getting arrested along with the other passengers. (more…)

After being jacked on last Saturday, Foxy Brown has allegedly returned to claim she’s gangsta on a new track called “We Don’t Surrender” featuring Grafh. In the song, Foxy Brown says, “I’m a Gangsta” and then spits the lyrics “Cops wanna talk to Fox, I got nothing… F!!ck what the paper say, they got nothing… Still fightin b!tch, I’m not runnin…” The female rapper even goes on to say that she carries guns and the whole shebang. Many speculate that this is her way of saving her career and “street credibility”.
