It seems that the word is swirling back around that the hip hop artist T.I. born Clifford Harris is planning to marry his longtime girlfriend and now fianceé Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle of the popular 90’s multi-platinum R&B music group Xscape, over the weekend, prior to heading to prison come May 19, 2009.

After news got out and around to rapper and Grand Hustle’s CEO, T.I., that his artist Alfamega born Cedric Zellars was a former government informant, T.I. dismissed him publicly on radio. The news broke on last week after the website Smoking Gun published a report along with legal documents revealing that the rapper was an informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A.) during a trial of a heroin drug dealer.

T.I. says that snitches rather than be snitches should follow by his example of owning up to his own behavior and giving back to the community. The rapper states that if someone does something wrong then they should quit trying to tell on someone else just to get out of trouble. The rapper states they [the people who get in trouble and snitch to get out] should “quit trying to pass the buck” on to someone else, and “own up” to the crime, ‘do the time’ and give back!

Grammy Award winning Atlanta rapper T.I. will be sentenced to one year and one day in prison as a part of his plea deal on a felony weapons charge stemming from a 2007 incident.

As a part of the plea, the rapper completed 1,000 hours of community services and has to pay a $100,000 fine. After being released from prison, the rapper must complete another 500 hours as a part of the deal, submit to an audit, drug counseling and 60 days of home confinement.
