On Wednesday (November 26), in less than a day’s time, a Hamilton County jury rendered a guilty verdict in the murder trial of Hosea Thomas, 35, the man accused of the 2006 shooting death of rapper T.I.’s friend and personal assistant, Philant Johnson, 26.

A concert to be held in Rochester, NY headlining both T.I. and Lil Wayne has been cancelled due to T.I. filling a music spot on SNL (Saturday Night Live). This is the second time the concert has been postponed with the first being because Lil Wayne didn’t show up for the concert scheduled in October because Wayne was allegedly unhappy with the venue’s sound system and the show’s promoters.

Rapper T.I., 28, voted for the very first time this past Wednesday in McDonough, Georgia at the Henry County Elections and Registration Office. According to reports the rapper believed that his voting rights were revoked due to multiple violations (convicted felon) and having served probation before. After researching, the rapper discovered that under a Georgia law, felons are eligible if they’re not currently serving probation or a prison sentence.

T.I., the self-proclaimed “King of The South,” will be performing tonight for free at the Key Club in Los Angeles, CA at 8:30 PM. Only 200 tickets will be given out for the show and they will be available for pickup from 10 AM – 1PM for ages 15+ today. No early line-up will be permitted for the show and admittance will be based on first-come, first-served.

Jermaine Dupri recently celebrated his 36th birthday on September 23 with Janet by his side at Tenjune in New York. The music executive looks to still be ‘out and about’ celebrating his birthday, this time around, partying at the Underground in Chicago.
