A new study/survey shows that one out of five adults believe it’s ok for a man to slap his wife or girlfriend, a survey has revealed. It seems that Oprah Winfrey’s warning and advice to Rihanna, regarding the alleged assault by boyfriend and singer Chris Brown, comes with shocking evidence. During a taping of Oprah’s special airing of Fridays Live in Chicago, the TV talk show queen, Winfrey spoke on domestic violence saying, “In our country the statistic is one out of four women, that’s what’s reporting… are being battered by their boyfriends. Most don’t tell because they’re afraid that if they tell their parents, their parents will make them break up with them.”

After an order was put in on yesterday, singer Chris Brown was warned by the Judge to not “harass, strike, threaten, assault (sexually or otherwise), follow, stalk, molest, destroy or damage personal or real property, disturb the peace, keep under surveillance, or block movements of the protected person named above (Robyn Fenty aka Rihanna),” as quoted in court documents. Documents now further reveal that the singer’s conversations and any other communications with Rihanna won’t exactly have the right to privacy as the Judge has also given Rihanna permission to record Chris Brown’s conversations.

After patiently waiting for Chris Brown to arrive in court for the second time today, this time for an arraignment, it seems that the R&B singer’s attorney, Mark Geragos did not enter a plea to the two felony charges placed against his client for criminal threats and assault allegedly after physically bringing harm to Pop singer Rihanna (Robyn Fenty).
