Louisiana rapper Lil’ Boosie has begun his 2 year sentence for violating house arrest after being convicted of a third offense for marijuana possession.

Torrence ‘Lil’ Boosie’ Hatch has begun serving out a 2 year sentence at the Winn Correctional Center in Louisiana. This comes after he violated house arrest by skipping out to do a couple shows resulting in his incarceration. “I had to do these two shows these last two days to feed my family,” says Boosie.

On Tuesday, September 22, 2009, Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie born Torrence Hatch, 26, made an agreement with prosecutors and plead guilty to a third-offense marijuana possession charge stemming from 2008 in which he was found in possession of a bag of marijuana, another drug substance and a gun during a traffic stop, as reported on HipHopRX.com.

Trouble always seems to find Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie. Lil Boosie born Torrence Hatch, 26, who was accused of attempting to bribe a Baton Rouge police officer on last year (Oct 22) after being arrested for marijuana and weapons possession, claims that the accusations against him offering a bribe are false.

On last week, hip hop artist Lil Boosie born Torrance Hatch was released from jail after posting a bail of $400,000. As previously reported, the rapper was jailed for allegedly assaulting someone at his Louisiana home which resulted in the rapper being arrested and detained in custody.
