Ja Rule’s New Album ‘Renaissance Project’ Dropping One Day Before Prison Term
Hip hop artist Ja Rule will surrender himself to authorities on June 8, reportedly just one day after releasing his new hip hop album project ‘The Renaissance Project.’
Ja Rule will reportedly be releasing his new album a day before he turns himself in to begin a two year prison term.
The rapper pled guilty and was sentenced on attempted criminal possession of a weapon after a traffic stop in 2007. Police found a 40 caliber handgun in the back seat of the rapper’s Maybach.

Ja Rule To Receive 2 Year Sentence For Gun Charges, 50 Cent Mocks Rapper
On Monday, Ja Rule appeared in court for gun charges stemming from a 2007 incident in which he plead guilty for being in possession of a firearm. The hip hop artist at first faced between 3-15 years and since he plead guilty and accepted the plea deal, he now faces approximately 2 years behind bars.

Rapper Ja Rule who was in court on yesterday (Jan. 20) for a 2007 gun possession case unfortunately didn’t get it dropped. The hip hop artist was denied a motion by New York Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers after claiming that the loaded handgun found in his Maybach after a concert in New York at the Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com, was searched without cause.

Rapper Rick Ross is back with another diss song aimed at rapper 50 Cent following diss tracks like Ross’ “Don’t Count The Boss Out (diss song)“, but this time in his remix to his track “Mafia Music” (listen here), which is from off Ross’ upcoming album “Deeper Than Rap,” the Miami rapper brought on past and present rivals of 50 Cent including The Game, Fat Joe and Ja Rule who spit diss verses aimed allegedly at rapper 50 Cent with reference to him as ‘Curly’ as well.

Lil Wayne and Ja Rule Going ‘Uh Oh’, Hit With Gun Charges One Hour Apart
Rappers Lil Wayne and Ja Rule have apparently got caught up in the mix after getting charged with criminal possession of a weapon in different incidents that happened approximately one hour apart in New York.
According to reports Ja Rule and an associate was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a .40-caliber pistol after speeding in a sedan on West Avenue in New York. Lil Wayne on the other hand was allegedly spotted by officers with an associate smoking by a tour bus on 61st Street and Columbus Avenue after a concert at the Beacon Theatre. Police are stated to have found a .40-caliber pistol on the bus which could have belonged to anyone riding the tour bus and has charged him with criminal possession of a weapon and for having illegal drugs (marijuana).

Rappers DMX and Ja Rule End Feud
After a feud that has lasted for sometime, DMX and Ja Rule has decided to end it.
The feud began when DMX accused Ja Rule of copying his style. According to Irv Gotti the beef ended after DMX spoke with him. Gotti states he reached out to DMX while he was incarcerated and arranged a meeting which ended the feud.
