Rapper Foxy Brown born Inga Marchand, 28 is going straight back to Rikers Island, where she’s spent the last two weeks after violating her three year probation several times. The rapper violated her probation by getting into a fight with two manicurists in a New York City salon in late August 2004. She was sentenced to one year in jail Friday by Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson at a probation hearing on Friday.

Brown was also indicted in Brooklyn earlier in the day on charges that she smacked a neighbor with a cell phone.

She was charged with second and third degree assault, attempted second degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon - presumably the cell phone.

While at the probation hearing Brown made promising to the Judge that she would straighten her life out while in handcuffs and wearing a gray pantsuit. (more…)

Rapper Foxy Brown born Inga Marchand, 27, is headed to Rose M. Singer Center a womens facility on Rikers Island, after a Manhattan judge named Melissa Jackson ordered the reportedly three-months-pregnant rapper to serve time for violating her probation, reports TMZ.

During court, the judge was made aware that Brown is three-months-pregnant and she plans to get married.

Previously, officials had sought to have her probation revoked after she was arrested on charges that she smacked her Brooklyn neighbor with her cell phone, said Jack Ryan, a spokesman for the city Department of Probation. (more…)

After being jacked on last Saturday, Foxy Brown has allegedly returned to claim she’s gangsta on a new track called “We Don’t Surrender” featuring Grafh. In the song, Foxy Brown says, “I’m a Gangsta” and then spits the lyrics “Cops wanna talk to Fox, I got nothing… F!!ck what the paper say, they got nothing… Still fightin b!tch, I’m not runnin…” The female rapper even goes on to say that she carries guns and the whole shebang. Many speculate that this is her way of saving her career and “street credibility”.

After rapper Foxy Brown (Inga Marchand) failed to testify after getting mugged, police had no choice but to release their key suspect, Roshawn Anthony, 23, without any charges. Anthony still faces charges of robbery, assault and grand larceny according to reports.

Rapper Foxy Brown “Inga Marchand,” 27, reportedly was set-up by her now ex-boyfriend after alledgely dumping him. According to reports, the rapper had attended a party with her boyfriend at the Louis H. Pink Houses at Crescent Street and Stanley Avenue in Brooklyn before dumping him after finding out he was a pimp. Reports state that four people teamed up on the female rapper, three of whom which were her boyfriends alleged women. The rapper was robbed for a Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards, a hearing aid and necklaces on Saturday at around 5:30 in the morning.

Recently female rapper Foxy Brown was booted from the Power 105.1 morning radio show for trying to dictate the interview and dodging questions on rumors that she was removed from Def Jam’s roster.

When Egypt & Ashy of Power 105.1 asked her if she had been dropped, Foxy Brown denied everything before saying she left the label herself.

“See, what people don’t know is that I initiated leaving Def Jam. They didn’t drop me, they could never drop me. I am a multi-platinum artist,” according to reports.

When Foxy Brown was questioned about the nail salon incident where she was alledgedly accused of assaulting a manicurist Foxy Brown stated, “I am not getting into what took place in the nail salon because it was an unfortunate incident that I learned from.”

Power 105.1 Egypt confronted Foxy Brown by stating to her, “But you contacted me to talk about these things. This is your opportunity, your platform to set the record straight. You have to admit that people say you are hard to work with and have a bad attitude.”

Foxy told the DJ’s the she was not answering them and that they were disrespectful. “I told you when I called you what type of questions I wanted for my interview,” stated Foxy.

“Foxy, you leave the room, this interview is over,” stated one of the DJ’s.

The DJ’s had enough of her behavior and how she wanted to control the interview. With that kind of Diva behavior she’ll be getting booted from more than just radio.
