Coroner Says Drug Overdose of Heroin Killed Dr Dre’s Son

The toxicology test results of 20 year-old son of famed music producer/rapper Dr Dre has been announced after four months of waiting. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, Andre R. Young Jr. died from morphine and heroin intoxication.

Rapper Eminem
There’s an apparent new song circulating on the internet from Eminem entitled ‘Number One’. It dropped on a mixtape entitled ‘4th Quarter Pressure Part 2′ by DJs Big Mike and Neptune, and there’s no official word as to whether or not it will be on Eminem’s new album Relapse or Dre’s album Detox according to MTV.

Dr. Dre

Andre Young Jr., 20, the son of rapper/producer Dr. Dre, born André Romelle Young, was found dead in his Woodland Hills, Calif., home on Saturday (Aug. 23). Young was found in his bed around 10 A.M. by his mother who told police Young had been out the night before, but returned home Saturday at around 5:30 A.M. before she discovered him when she went to check on him. Is it the same Blue Carpet you’ve heard about in the Memphis 10 that Snoop and Dr. Dre are talking about. Well regardless of this, the pair is teaming up for an upcoming album entitled “The Blue Carpet Treatment” after five years of separation.

Besides Dr. Dre being a producer on the album others included on the project are R. Kelly, Nate Dogg, Timbaland, Stevie Wonder, The Game, Ne-Yo, Rick Rock, Ice Cube and more.

The Blue Carpet will be Snoop Dogg’s eighth album and is expected to hit the shelves on Novemeber 21st in the US. A UK release date is still pending.
