The Black Eyed Peas which consists of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie, got their first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, with their new lead single Boom Boom Pow. The single Boom Boom Pow managed to receive over 465,000 downloads on last week after being released to radio on March 10, 2009 and digitally March 30th on iTunes.

Black Eyed Peas music artist and producer will.i.am premiered his track, “It’s A New Day,” on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday, November 7, 2008 following Barack Obama’s win over John McCain for U.S. President-Elect on November 4th. The song “It’s A New Day” follows behind his previous song supporting the campaign of President-Elect Barack Obama “Yes We Can”, which he released in January 2008 that was directed by Jesse Dylan.

According to news reports, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie confessed to having a series of lesbian relationships when she was the tender age of 18. At that time she reportedly stated that she was experimenting with drugs and sex which was due to her rebelling against her strict Catholic parents.
