Akon born Aliaune Thiam was in court on Monday, December 3rd due to charges stemming from a June 3rd concert in which he allegedly tossed a teen boy into the audience. The toss caused the young boy to fall on top of a teen girl who reportedly received a concussion according to reports. (more…)

Looks as though Akon will be facing criminal charges for tossing a fan around in June. Reportedly, Akon tossed a teen at the annual KFEST concert at the Dutchess Stadium in New York which resulted in a girl named Abby Rosa allegedly getting injured and suffering from a concussion. (more…)

After Akon brought a 14 year-old Trinidad girl on stage, who he bumped, and ponied, everyone has been keeping a watchful eye on him. According to reports, the star was spotted leaving a club with a young woman who was holding roses while wrapped around his neck on Wednesday. The two reportedly road off into the nightlife in his Ferrari.

Recently Akon announced the signing of rapper/emcee Red Café to his label by presenting him with a Konvict Music chain at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert on June 3, 2007. Akon states, “He’s gonna bring New York back!”

On Sunday at Dutchess Stadium, during a KFest concert staged by Fishkill-based WSPK (104.7 FM), a 15 year-old boy was pointed out by fans and then picked from the crowd by a security guard after throwing something onto the stage at artist Akon (birth name Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam). The young boy was picked up, place on Akon’s shoulders and then thrown in mid-air by the artist back into a crowd of fans.
