George Clooney along with Haitian-born rapper/activist Wyclef Jean, founder of the Yele Haiti Foundation, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper will be simultaneously hosting a telethon entitled ‘Hope for Haiti,’ to give aid to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

Mr. Clooney will host from Los Angeles while Wyclef Jean will host from New York and the CNN anchor, Anderson Cooper, will be in Haiti.

Photo of Haitian Rapper Jimmy O, killed in Haiti Earthquake
Jimmy Alexandre, known as simply ‘Jimmy O’ was on his way to the studio to work on his mixtape when he was killed by falling debris during Haiti’s 7.0 earthquake. Jimmy O was identified on Friday (Jan. 15th) by a passport that was found on his body.

Jimmy O was a member of Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti Foundation and well known in Haiti for his music. Not only did he contribute to the community, Jimmy O was married and a loving father to his three children.
