Eminem and Yelawolf will graze the cover of Vibes last issue for the year of 2011.

Even though Eminem and Yelawolf grew up states apart, the adversity they overcame is the bond that makes them both evolve as a person and as an artist.

It took some close friends to push Marshall onto the music of Alabama’s backwoods b-boy, but after one listen it became clear to him Yelawolf was destined for Shady.

J.Lo Gets Low During 2011 VMA Performance

After 2 kids and a recent split up from her husband, J.Lo has not lost a step in her career and still gets down when it’s time to perform.

Lopez, who hopped into a Fiat for part of her performance, basically sang her commercial, belting out Papi before moving into her dance hit On the Floor.

Ice Cube Is ready to star and start on the fourth “Friday” film.

The 1995 hit movie Friday was the first foray into screenwriting for budding rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube, who worked with longtime collaborator DJ Pooh to create a cult classic that essentially jump started the film career of comedian Chris Tucker.

Kendrick Lamar Talks About His Feature On ‘Take Care’

With the release of Drake’s highly anticipated Take Care, I spoke to three collaborator’s on the album, including Compton’s lyrical prodigy Kendrick Lamar.

Kendrick explains the inspiration behind his verse on “Marvin’s Room/Buried Alive,” and recalls his first time meeting Drake, their Take Care features and shares details on how it all came together.
“Drake called me and said he had a beat that 40 did and wanted me on it, told me to do what I feel on the record. The first thing that came to mind was my first time meeting dude,” Kendrick told MTV RapFix.

Mac Miller Stays Indie And Proud Of It

Mac Miller made his way up to #1 on the Billboard Charts as the first independent artist in 16 years to accomplish such a feat with his debut Blue Slide Park on Wednesday.

This hasn’t been accomplished by an indie artist since the Dogg Pound did it in 1995.

Amy Winehouse Unreleased Songs Will Stay Under Lock And Key

News just broke out that Amy Winehouse’s fans will not have the chance to hear a dozen unreleased songs the singer recorded before her death.

Island Records UK have announced that they will definitely not release the twelve previously unheard tracks to the public.

Label head Ted Cockle and Island executive Darcus Beese are fans of these tracks and appreciate the artistic level of them.
