Senator Barack Obama met with Ludacris on November 30th privately. “We talked about empowering the youth,” said Ludacris (Chris Bridges).

Ludacris met with Senator Barack Obama to launch the YouthAIDS “Kick Me” campaign inorder to raise HIV/AIDS awareness while visiting Northwestern University in Chicago.

Ludacris stated the meeting Obama was like meeting a relative. When media tried to get comments from Obama about their meeting he declined to comment, but instead walked Ludacris to the elevator.

Barack Obama is an Illinois first-term Democrat who is stated to be running for White House in 2008. According to sources Obama will be making his decision in a few months.

British rapper, Ms. Dynamite is recovering from a 100-mph crash that occurred during filming of “The Race,” a car-racing reality show on Britain’s Sky One TV network.

The British rapper was hit by Brian Johnson, lead singer of rock band AC/DC. She was struck in the back of her Formula Ford car at Silverstone racetrack in central England on Sunday.

“The Race” pits teams of male and female celebrities against each other. The drivers had completed lap four of a 25-lap race when the collision occurred.

Paramedics treated the singer/rapper, whose real name is Niomi McLean-Daley, at the track. Though she didn’t suffer any serious injuries, she was airlifted to a hospital as a precaution and remained overnight.

“Brian Johnson’s wheel clipped her back wheel,” Sky One television spokesman Lee Robson said. “That forced her car into the barrier and sent her car spinning about 50 yards down the track.”

Contestants trained at the racetrack for a week, progressing to faster cars before the finale, Robson said.

Other contestants included Melissa Joan Hart of TV’s “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” and 1980s British pop singer Gary Numan.

Pop star Britney Spears, 24, has filed for divorce on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences with husband rapper/backup dancer Kevin Federline, 28, just two months after the birth of their second child.

The couple has been married for two years.

The Los Angeles County Superior Court filing cites “irreconcilable differences”, but the world knows the truth. Now the question is will Kevin Federline’s rap career take a dive since the two are splitting, which was already looking faint since the beginning.

Britney Spears is asking the court to grant her sole custody of their two sons, one-year-old Sean Preston, and James Jayden, born on September 12. Britney Spears also asked for Kevin Federline to be given visitation rights. The filing lists everything as separate property, and thereby off-limits to Kevin Federline, “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal affects,” earnings and other assets to be determined later.

It’s a good thing that Britney Spears did have the sense to have a prenuptial agreement. Britney Spears is waiving her right to spousal support. She’s also asking the judge to make each party pay its attorney fees.

Although Sean “P. Diddy” Combs says that fashion model Kim Porter is that woman he will marry, he’s steering very clear of it right now.

“I don’t want to make that pledge in front of God and not be able to see it all the way out. I didn’t grow up around a married family, so it’s taking me a bit longer.

“A lot of guys out there get married, and they still do their thing. I don’t want to get married and fail.”

As many may know, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs can’t find it in his heart to marry his long-time girlfriend Kim Porter who’s currently pregnant with his twin girls. The two already have a son together named Christian who’s eight years old son.

While numerous Hollywood sources call Kim Porter pathetic for letting him cheat on her right and left for the past 10 years, is P. Diddy on to something with the growth in divorces or does he know that he can have his way as long as she let’s him?

On Wednesday, October 5th, Cassidy was on his way to a studio in Yonkers, NY when a U-Haul truck allegedly swerved into the opposite lane of oncoming traffic, striking the vehicle Cassidy was in.

However it has been stated that the Jersey City police, has no such record of an accident in the North District involving the rapper in their files.

In the meantime, Cassidy, the Full Surface/J Records artist is stated to be in critical condition after being severely injured when a U-Haul truck struck the vehicle Cassidy was riding in. Cassidy was hospitalized with a fractured skull, multiple broken facial bones and other injuries.

J Records publicist Theola Borden stated to The Star Ledger, “We don’t know whether he is in an induced coma or heavily sedated.” However, Borden did note, “The results of a CAT scan were okay.” Minimal information outside of Borden’s statement was obtained, as well as information being kept private by the Jersey City Medical Center where Cassidy is being cared for.

Sources say that singer/actress Jennifer Lopez is having Invitro Fertilisation (IVF) inorder to have children with her husband Marc Anthony.

It is reported that 37 year old Jennifer Lopez told other planning mothers at an IVF clinic called Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles that she is dreaming of having two kids of her own. One patient goes on to state that Jennifer Lopez told her that she just recently started treatment and couldn’t wait to have a family.

In previous news it is stated that Lopez is already pregnant with her first child after pop star Jesse McCartney told a radio station in Georgia that she is expecting.

Shock Jock radio DJ Miss Jones is said to be off the airwaves and has been for the past few weeks. It is stated that she was suspended after a dispute with Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, but this is not the total truth. A source at the station states that Miss Jones recently had stomach stapling surgery due to battling with a weight problem.

According to sources she went up to almost 300 lbs, which has caused her to become very emotional and nasty with guests and others around the station. Before her leave, Jones told everyone that she was taking a leave for medical reasons, but someone spilled the beans and found out that she was having her stomach stapled.

The radio source goes on to state that her weight was beginning to cause problems with everyone at the station and it’s was good timing that it happened. When Miss Jones is on the air sources stated that she tends to sweat a lot and it also gets a little musty in the station studio. Her weight kept increasing which caused it even to get worst, one DJ was even stated to have complained and would leave the door wide open to try to let some of the stink out.

Hopefully Miss Jones will come back looking great and with a fresh attitude.

Sources state that Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s widow Icelene Jones has gotten with producer Richard Flanzer to keep five of his kids and his ex-girlfriend from getting album profits in the U.S.

The deal would direct all funds received from Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s album “A Son Unique” to the producer rather than his family which would cut out his dependents, their mothers and even Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s own mother. The album is expected to be released November 7.

The agreement with Flanzer will pass along three-quarters of the album’s profits to the rapper’s widow while keeping the remainder for himself.

Music legend and hip-hop pioneer Reverend Run from the hip-hop group Run DMC and his wife Justine Simmons unfortunately lost their newborn daughter after birth on September 26, 2006.

Young Victoria Anne Simmons did not come at her expected time and experienced some difficulties with her organs. Victoria was delivered at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Reverend Run issued this statement, “On Sept. 26, 2006, Victoria Anne Simmons for some unknown reason chose to come early and unfortunately did not survive,” his statement said. “We must accept whatever is there and once you accept unconditionally, then everything is beautiful. Every pain has a purifying effect. So whatever comes your way, just be thankful. We see life in death and believe in the celebration of life in death.”

The preganancy would have played a major part in his hit TV show “Run’s House” which is aired on MTV. If you haven’t been following the show, on numerous episodes Justine mentioned to Rev. Run that she wanted a little girl showing him little girl clothing and more. This would have served as a major storyline for the show.

It was reported that the MTV film crew were filming in the hospital at that time.

Reverend Run and Justine has two sons, Daniel, 10, and Russell, 8. Reverend Run also has three children from a previous marriage, two daughters and one son, Vanessa, 22, Angela, 18, and Joseph, 16.
