Just a few days ago, singer Omarion formerly of B2K who just turned 24 on November 12th, shared a message that his niece was just born and talks about how great of an Uncle he’s going to be.

“I’m so excited, she was 6 lbs…,” says Omarion.

R&B singer Jhene and Oryan named Omarion’s niece Nami. Nami was born on November 24th.

Flint, Michigan-based rapper MC Breed born Eric Breed passed away on Saturday at the age of 36. The rapper began his career in the early 90’s first on the 1991 album “MC Breed & DFC” and later with his solo albums “20 Below” in 1992 and “The New Breed” in 1993 which there were 10 other albums to follow.

The rapper is greatly known by the underground world and managed to work with those such as Too Short, the late Tupac Shakur (2Pac), Warren G, The Dayton Family, Jazze Pha, amongst others.

Vice president executive of Def Jam Recording, Shakir Stewart died on Saturday of an alleged suicide.

Before becoming Vice president of Def Jam, Stewart was the VP of A&R at Def Jam and worked with artists such as Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and Karina Pasian whom he brought on to the label.

By now the story heard worldwide of singer/actress Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother being murdered has taken a toll on many people including Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

On Friday, October 24, 2008 the bodies of Hudson’s mother Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, and Hudson’s brother, Jason Hudson, were found slain shortly before 3 p.m. in their South Side Chicago home located just 5 miles from the home of Barack Obama in Englewood.

Ludacris joins Martha Stewart and makes origami’s with his Chef, Tyson. The rapper jokes with Martha saying that he has A.D.D. and he can’t make the origami.

“You can’t have A.D.D. with the kind of music you write and have A.D.D.,” Martha Stewart told the rapper. Ludacris replied back stating, “Just write it fast.”

As of Monday, up until yesterday, Sept. 30, singer Janet Jackson was in the hospital after falling ill shortly before her concert in Montreal, Canada. The 42-year-old singer was transported to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal after becoming “suddenly ill” during a sound check a few minutes before the show, according to a statement released by W&W Public Relations.

Bow Wow talks with American Morning’s Kiran Chetry about his newest adventure the “Walk Across America” in which he is trying to bring awareness and get the young people out to vote. The goal is to attract those between the ages of 18 and 25.

Solange Knowles visited Hot 97 in New York and spoke with Angie Martinez about FOX news calling Barack Obama’s wife Michelle Obama, ‘Obama’s baby mama.’ She also spoke about having a sense of thinking and standing up for your family. In the interview Angie also asked Solange about her interview with Fox 5 in which she snapped on the news anchor right when the show went live. Solange addresses her abrupt lash-out stating she was hearing them in the background saying to ask her about Jay-Z. and that the interview was suppose to be about her album.
