Eminem Wins Again In Supreme Court Fight Against Universal Music

FBT productions lost their battle with one of the reported best rapper’s alive, Marshall Mathers known as Eminem aka Slim Shady.

In 2009, FBT filed a claim, saying the label owed the “Not Afraid” hit maker $1.47 million in damages because they didn’t pay Eminem for music downloads.

In Sept 2010, a California judge reportedly declared Universal bosses were at fault the the case with the Supreme Court case appealed by Universal executives was dismissed on Monday (Mar 21).

Hip Hop Producer Dr Dre Wins Case For Illegal Secret Police Tape


Police in Michigan are losing the battle in a court case against hip hop music producer Dr. Dre.

Dr. Dre is innocent according to a Michigan judge. Hip-Hop producer, Dr. Dre was sued by a group of police officials claiming that they were secretly filmed at the rapper’s 2000 “Up In Smoke” tour.

Woman Cites Lil Wayne Recording Session as Site of Sexual Assault


A woman is stating that she was sexually assaulted during a recording session where Lil Wayne recording his lyrics to a song.

Let me start by saying “I wasn’t even there” — Lil Wayne. The alleged victim was hired as a catering assistant for a pre-grammy party at a producer Noel “Detail” Fisher home.

Allegedly, Detail was whom held the victim against her will and sexually assaulted her.

Rapper Slim Thug Being Sued For Alleged Pistol Whipping


Stayve Jerome Thomas, a.k.a. Slim Thug Da Boss Hogg and Raymond Thomas are being sued by Clarence Evans in Harris County Court for an alleged ‘pistol whipping’ assault.

The man’s claiming that Slim Thug and Raymond Thomas attacked, pistol whipped and robbed him.

Tupac’s Mother, Afeni Shakur, Drug Hearing Postponed Again


A court hearing for Afeni Shakur, the mother of assassinated rapper Tupac Shakur, has been postponed for a third time since being released on bail for marijuana possession.

Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, who was caught in possession of marijuana, will face a N. Carolina judge on June 2nd.

Rapper Petey Pablo Pleads Guilty to Gun Weapon Charge

Rapper Petey Pablo is facing up to 10 years in prison. Rapper Petey Pablo appeared in court earlier this week and entered into a plea agreement with investigators.

Pablo plead guilty to possession of a stolen weapon and therefore that is the only thing he was charged for.. all other charges were dropped.

Rapper Tru Life Sentenced To 8 Years in Prison in Deadly NYC Fight

Roc-A-Fella rapper TruLife was sentenced to 8 years in prison after taking a plea deal following charges in a deadly fight a couple years ago.

Tru Life was formally sentenced by Judge Robert Gottsfield, Wednesday. Tru Life and his brother Marcus Rosado both took plea deals in February for the 2009 stabbing of Christopher Guerrero.

Tru Life, whose real name is Robert Rosado stated that he and his brother did not mean to kill Mr. Guerrero who was not their intended target, just an innocent bystander.

G-Unit rapper and 50 Cent associate and close friend Lloyd Banks is being accused of encouraging violence during a performance in Buffalo, NY. As a result, two men were stabbed during the melee.

Reportedly, two men received multiple stab wounds while in the mist of a violent brawl that popped off at a recent Lloyd Banks concert in Buffalo, NY. According to eyewitnesses, Banks instigated the feud by taunting the crowd. More details under the hood….

The former 50 Cent protege’ and member of the multi-platinum selling rap group G-Unit, plead not guilty to a felony gun possession charge in a Nashville court on Monday, March 7th.

Reggae star Buju Banton Faces Life In Prison Over Federal Drug Charges


Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton faces life in prison for federal drug trafficking charges.

Buju Banton, who is nominated for a Grammy Award for his album “Dawn” will be in court on Monday for federal drug trafficking charges for the second time after previously having a deadlocked/hung jury in September 2010. According to reports, Buju Banton born Mark Myrie, 37, was video taped by authorities testing cocaine in 2009. The artist is stated to have placed his finger in the illegal drug substance to get a sampling of it.
