Federal prosecutors in New York unveiled new charges against hip hop talent agent James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, indicting him for allegedly possessing a sub-machine gun and silencer.
Rosemond is already facing drug trafficking charges that were announced in June. However, these new gun charge might just be the nail In the coffin.
“It adds several gun charges,” Assistant US Attorney Todd Kaminsky told a federal judge today, referring to the new indictment.

HipHopRX.com has learned that the body of an up and coming Brooklyn, New York native rapper, Kampane, was found in New Jersey early yesterday (Aug 16). Kampane, real name Rhian H. Stoute, 33, had at least one gunshot wound and his body was torched almost beyond recognition.
Reports say the remains of the aspiring hip hop artist were so charred that when he was found Tuesday morning in the sport utility vehicle which was parked on a New Jersey street, authorities could almost not identify him later.

HipHopRX.com has learned that Garrelle Smith, 29, who was the murder suspect in the killing of rapper Soulja Slim was found dead on Saturday, August, 13 in the streets of New Orleans by police. According to NOLA, Smith died of gunshot wounds to the chest and head and has been tied to other crimes which fell through over the past decade.

HipHopRX.com has learned that rapper The Game has stirred up possible trouble for himself after The Game’s tweet apparently overwhelmed the emergency phone system at one of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department busiest stations.
The Game tweeted to his over a half of million followers to apparently call the Compton station’s phone number on Friday if they wanted an internship.
The lines allegedly became jammed for more than two hours by hundreds of calls to the station and forced to the station to call additional help in order to avoid missed emergency calls.

Rap artist Big Boi (of hip hop music group Outkast) got into some legal trouble on yesterday after vacating a cruise ship in Miami, Florida, HipHopRX.com has learned. According to reports, rapper Big Boi was in possession of ecstasy, Viagra and drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.
Reportedly, Cezar (a drug sniffing dog) for the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol got a whiff of Big Boi and alerted them that he may have some narcotics in his possession.
